K 12 Connection

1. What did I learn?
In this helpful website I learned about issues facing K 12 educators.It is sad to know that more and more parents these days are choosing to opt out of the traditional education system and educate their children at home, with help from the many fantastic K12 online facilities and resources. Many children just do not focus and flourish in the traditional classroom environment, which is just one reason why an increasing number of parents are opting to change the education of their children and enroll in a K12 program for a more individual and liberating method of education. I really do not think parents should consider home schooling for their children as a choice unless is really necessity. I believe students acquire more knowledge in a classroom environment than at home.

2. What else do I want to learn?
I would like to know how well students not on the traditional education system perform. I would also like to know statistics of students enrolled in home schooling and what regions have more students in this program. I would also like to learn how and where these students take state exams.
